Blue Ribbon Walk & 5K Race - Kids Against Child AbuseThe St. Petersburg Exchange Club proudly invites you to participate in The Blue Ribbon Walk & 5K Race - Kids Against Child Abuse. The highlight of this event is that fact that Youngsters in our community are getting together and enthusiastically committing their time and energy to help plan The Blue Ribbon Walk & 5K Race. It is their way to help other children impacted by child abuse and neglect. These Youngsters will be involved in all the details required to make this event a success and are working to make this event a spectacular day for all who attend. In addition to the 5K Race, children's activities are planned; several special guests will be there as well as entertainment and refreshments. Dogs on leashes are also welcome. The Blue Ribbon Walk & 5K Race will be held Saturday, April 19th, at Walsingham Park, 12615 102nd Avenue N., Largo. 5K Race registration will begin at 7:30 a.m.; 5K Race starts at 8:30 a.m. There will also be a One-Mile Family walk following the Race. The proceeds from the Race will be presented to the parent Aide Program at Help A Child, Inc. to support their mission of preventing child abuse and the Exchange Club Youth Scholastic Achievement Awards Program.
