Resource Center for Women Offers Free Workshop"Making the Most of Your Dollars During Times of Economic Hardship"The Resource Center for Women will hold a money management program, "Making Every Dollar Count" on Tuesday, April 29, and on May 6, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The workshop is free and open to the public (men and women). It will be held at the Suncoast Safety Council, 1145 Court St., Clearwater. Registration is required. Call RCW at 727-586-1110. The workshop will focus on the following money management topics: Setting up systems to pay bills on time, learning what to do when you can't pay cash and how to stretch your dollars. The classes are held in a comfortable, non-intimidating environment that encourages group discussion and interactive learning. The Resource Center for Women assists individuals in achieving emotional strength, self-sufficiency, and economic stability. RCW does this through life skills training, which includes programs in career development, personal growth, money management, and parenting classes.
