Cancer Rescue Relay EventLARGO - "Cancer Rescue" relay event will be held Friday, May 9th, starting at 6 p.m. and runs through noon Saturday at the Largo High School track, 410 Missouri Avenue, Largo. Participants are invited to come out and support Largo Fire Rescues' Relay for Life Team by walking the track during this 18-hour event. Feel free to bring a guest and walk as long as you would like. You may just want to walk for an hour or are you the type that likes a challenge and wants to stay all night? The goal is to have at least two people on the track at all times. In addition to walking, many teams will have items for sale and the Relay Committee will host a variety of fun events in the center field. You are guaranteed to have a great time. This is a great opportunity to show support for a friend or loved one who has been faced with cancer.
