
Kids Find Fun at Touch-a-Truck Dayphotos/text by Sandi Fahy
The 25-ft. RBS patrol boat manned by U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Frank Vaca, bottom left, and Coast Guard Fireman Chuck Seckinger, top left, of Station Sand Key in Clearwater caught the attention of the above pictured children and adults at Touch-a-Truck Day in Dunedin on April 26. Those attending had the opportunity to get a close-up look at over 150 vehicles, including monster trucks, tractors, fire engines, police cars, motorcycles and helicopters. The event at Highlander Park also featured a moonwalk, petting zoo and musical entertainment.
Sgt. Dwayne Somers of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is happy to explain the workings of a Sheriff's airboat to the above pictured youngsters enjoying Touch-a-Truck Day in Dunedin on April 26.
