Dunedin Fire Department to Host Fifth Annual Open House

DUNEDIN - Have you ever wondered what its like to be a firefighter and work in one of America's most exciting and hazardous occupations? Have you ever wanted to spend a day at a real working fire rescue station? The public is invited to share the experience Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dunedin Rick Seissian Fire station #60 located at 1046 Virginia St., Dunedin.

Dunedin Fire Fighters proudly are sponsoring an Open House at the Fire Station. Both young kids and older kids are invited to attend and have a really great free family entertainment day. A lunch will be provided along with demonstrations, station tours, fun, games, raffles, prizes, both modern and antique fire trucks and an all around exciting day at a real working fire station. There will be hands on learning, helicopter landings, meet and greet mascots and a really unique "up close" experience. Fire fighters will be on hand to share the experience of one of Americas most exciting and dangerous occupations. Bring your cameras and meet your Dunedin Fire Fighters, their Fire Department Partners, and share in a great free Family Event.
