
Pinellas County Gator Club Salutes Area Veterans With International Gator Day Cookout at Bay Pines VA CenterCLEARWATER - The Pinellas County Gator Club will be hosting a "Welcome Home" cookout for local veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event, located on the Bay Pines Medical Center grounds, will also include live music by the band "Talk To Mark" and Gator-themed games and giveaways. International Gator Day, now in its 10th year, is an outreach effort of the University of Florida Alumni Association's Gator Club programs. On this day, Gator Clubs across the globe will be participating in service-oriented events. All local Gators who are interested in volunteering are asked to sign up via the Pinellas County Gator Club website, at www.PinellasGators.com.
