Upcoming Events in Indian Rocks BeachOn Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is the first annual Green Fest sponsored by The City of Indian Rocks Beach and COTI Community Christian School in Indian Rocks Beach. It will be held on 24th Avenue in the Church of the Isles parking lot and the grassy field at COTI Community Christian School. The Green Fest will celebrate what’s ecologically working in the community. There will be many local non-profit organizations providing “green information” with great “how-to” workshops, along with local eco-friendly businesses providing all-natural products, organic produce, Green Building/Construction and local arts and crafts. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available with other food vendors. The kids can enjoy earth conscious arts and crafts, a bouncy house, hands-on experience with a city fire truck, face painting, and healthy treats. Saturday night, May 31, at dusk (about 8:30 p.m.), the Homeowners Association will be having another Movies in the Park Event. They are setting up the big screen at the Nature Park and will provide free popcorn. Bring your lawn chairs and coolers for a screening of Pixar Animation Studio's "Cars".
