Autobiography Workshops to be Held 

Writer Sandy Huff will present two hands-on workshops on how to write your autobiography.   Her talk will include sure fire topics, writing with POW!, and making your readers “see” your life.

An award winning photojournalist, Sandy Huff has published 1,230 magazine and newspaper articles, with “about half that many photos,” she said.  Huff specializes in feature articles about outdoor life and traveling.  She is a  member of  Pen Women, the Florida Outdoor Writers Association, Windlasses sailing club, and several paddling clubs.  Her book on canoeing and kayaking the waters of Florida, Paddler’s Guide to the Sunshine State has sold over 7000 copies.

The meeting will be sponsored by the Clearwater Branch of the National League of American Pen Women.  The League consists of professional women writers, artists, and composers.  The Clearwater Branch has been in existence since 1957.

One workshop will be  Tuesday, June 17, 10 a.m., at the  Oldsmar Senior Center, 127 State Street West, across the street from Oldsmar City Hall.    The same workshop will also be given Friday, June 20, 10 a.m., at the Wellness Artist center, 6617 Gunn Hwy, Tampa.

  Admission is free.  A home-made dessert and soft drinks will be served at the start of the workshop.  Bring writing materials.
