Junior Docents Gather at Heritage Village

Living history interpreter Paige Noel, at right, addresses a group of youngsters attending the Junior Docent Open House at Heritage Village in Largo on May 31. Students ages 12-17 had been invited to Pinellas County's 21-acre living history museum that day to learn more about the upcoming summer docent program for youth volunteers. An open house for adult volunteers is scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 7. Positions are open for docents (lecturers and guides), living history presenters, receptionists, archival assistants and gift shop volunteers.
