Memorial Service Set for Leonard C. Kleefuss, Sr.
Kleefuss, Leonard C., Sr. age 93, left us on October 11, 2007, while at Troy Beaumont Hospital, in Troy, MI. A native of Michigan, Leonard lost his heart to Florida during the years he lived here, 1974-1997. He lived in the Clearwater area. During that time, he became the Director of Transportation for the Clearwater Red Cross. He was the loving father of Naida (Robert) Okray and Chuck (Pat) Kleefuss; devoted grandfather of Dennis Gerbe, Wendy (Eloy) Guerrero, and Shannon, Brett and Kyle Kleefuss.; adored great-grandfather of Austin, Gage, Gillan, Chase and Cady. Memorial Service will be held in the Peacefield Mausoleum of Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Pt. Rd., Clearwater, at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Red Cross, Tampa Bay Chapter, 2481 Sunset Pt. Rd., Clearwater, FL 33765.
