East Gateway Neighborhood Meeting Announced
CLEARWATER - The City of Clearwater will host a community meeting for residents, businesses and others interested in the East Gateway Neighborhood. The meeting will take place 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N Osceola Ave. The meeting's focus will be the East Gateway revitalization effort, progress in addressing neighborhood issues and ways for residents and businesses to be involved in neighborhood projects and programs. During a portion of the meeting, speakers will present information on neighborhood safety and security and summer recreational opportunities. Volunteers will be recruited to help plan a back-to-school celebration in early August.
The East Gateway Neighborhood is the area bordered by Court Street, Cleveland Street, Missouri Avenue and Highland Avenue and is part of the Clearwater Community Redevelopment area.
