Mothers Against Drunk Driving Asks Tampa to Walk Like MADDMothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) asks the Tampa community to Walk Like MADD – with the call to action, “Let’s Eliminate Drunk Driving.” This is the first year for Tampa to participate in MADD’s signature 5K fundraiser walk, raising money to support its Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving. The walks are held each year in more than 30 cities nationwide. The walk is scheduled for Saturday, June 28. The ceremonies begin at 7 a.m., the walk begins at 7:30 a.m., at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. Activities include: face painting, tours of police vehicles, child fingerprinting, teen zone with fun activities, duck prize pool for toddlers, ignition interlock demonstrations, free snacks and beverages, prizes and more.
