High Price of FreedomCLEARWATER – On Wednesday, July 9, the Clearwater Christian Women’s Club is hosting its monthly luncheon at the beautiful Cove Cay Country Club on the northeast corner of U.S. 19 and Haines Bayshore in Clearwater. Let Freedom Ring! Celebrate with patriotic music and words brought by David Lyon. David will stir your hearts with his singing. Maria Goodsell, from Brooksville, will be the guest speaker. Maria will share how she made it from a German concentration camp to Lady Liberty. How did she overcome the fears and reprisals that haunted her? How did she find peace and that life was worth living – share her heartwarming story. All women are welcome. The club is not affiliated with any church or denomination.
