Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin to Hold Membership Information SessionClearwater - The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin will hold membership information sessions at three different locations on the following dates: July 9 (North Pinellas), July 24 (Clearwater) and August 5 (Belleair). All sessions will start at 6:30 p.m. Women who are at least 22 years of age and who are interested in serving the communities of northern Pinellas and Pasco Counties through volunteering are encouraged to attend. Topics covered will include the mission of the JLCD as well as benefits and requirements of membership. Please call (727) 738-5523 if you’re interested in attending. The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving its community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. In Pinellas County, the JLCD was instrumental in establishing projects such as the Community Pride Daycare facility, UPARC, the FUN bus and Heritage Village, just to name a few.
