Money Mailer of Clearwater Helps Raise Money for Children’s Miracle Network

Contributions Added to Nationwide Money Mailer Total of More Than $370,000

CLEARWATER - As part of a strategic partnership with Children’s Miracle Network, Tampa Bay Money Mailer franchises have contributed $6200 to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg for Children’s Miracle Network, a nationally recognized non-profit organization supporting 17 million children at more than 170 hospitals.  Jim Dail, owner of Money Mailer of Clearwater led the local effort, which was part of Money Mailers’ second annual Children’s Miracle Network nationwide fundraising campaign. In total, Dail’s donation combined with Money Mailer’s collective efforts exceeded $370,000 and increased the two-year Money Mailer contribution total for Children’s Miracle Network to nearly $800,000.

“We are extremely happy to be a part of helping raise money for such as great cause,” said Dail.  “Our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network has been a great opportunity for us to make a difference with our local children’s hospital in St. Pete.  We chose Children’s Miracle Network for these efforts because 100 percent of the funds we raised will stay in our local community.”

Money Mailer of Clearwater’s donation went directly to All Children’s Hospital to provide state-of-the-art care, life-saving research and preventative education for children.  Dail and two other Tampa Bay Money Mailer franchise owners presented their $6200 check on June 1 during the 25th annual All Children’s Hospital Telethon on WFLA TV News Channel 8.  The Clearwater business raises money for Children’s Miracle Network all year long by donating a portion of its advertising sales.  As part of the campaign in 2008, during the months of March, April and May, Money Mailer raised funds with three promotional ‘miracle’ mailings reaching more than 21 million homes packed with savings from local businesses, thus enabling customers to save money while supporting their local children’s hospital.

“Given Money Mailer’s commitment to serving the communities in which it works and lives, our relationship with Children’s Miracle Network could not be more important to us.” said Steven Gray, COO of Money Mailer. “Words can’t describe how delighted we are that the money we have raised will help save children’s lives.”
