Morton Plant Mease Triathlon Cancelled Due to Inclement WeatherThe Morton Plant Mease Triathlon scheduled to take place at Sand Key Park was cancelled due to inclement weather. Due to rain storms that included lightning, the decision was made to cancel the race for the safety of athletes and triathlon volunteers. Information will be e-mailed to the 850 athletes who were registered to participate in the triathlon regarding the cancellation and possible rescheduling of the event.
