Downtown Clearwater Summer Marketplace

Marketplace manager Bob Fernandez, left, and Connie Lehmer, manager of Bob and Daughter Produce (no relation), display some of the fresh produce that can be purchased the last Wednesday of each month through October at the Downtown Clearwater Summertime Marketplace outside Clearwater City Hall. Peaches, plums, cantaloupes, watermelon, cherries, Ruskin tomatoes and other produce in season can be found there along with baked goods, honey, gourmet cheeses, flowers, eco-friendly products, handmade crafts, jewelry and more. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Beginning in November, the market will be open once a week. Call 461-7647 for more information.
