Two Wood Storks strut their stuff for passersby on a recent afternoon. The large, long-necked wading birds, whose bald heads and necks stand out among other waterbirds, are also known as "Wood Ibis", "Ironhead", or "Flinthead." They can be found around wet meadows, swamps, ponds and coastal shallows. Wood storks nest in large colonies and feed on fish, frogs, reptiles and insects.
