Replacement of Code Enforcement Board letter sent to Largo Mayor, Commissioners and City ManagerPlease be advised that I am in favor of dissolving the Code Enforcement Board and hiring a special magistrate to handle code enforcement cases. We need more and better code enforcement. Code enforcement officials should be more aggressive about enforcing our codes. They should not only handle complaints, pitting one neighbor against another, but should issue violations based upon what they drive by on a daily basis. If the city is serious about enhancing it's public image, then having the best trained and most efficient Code Enforcement Department is a good start!
