
Silver Coffee Committee Announces Event’s Theme “Glitz, Glamour and Moonlight”On Friday, November 7, the 31st Annual Silver Coffee, benefiting the Children’s Home Society of Florida – (CHS), Gulf Coast Division will be held at the Historic Belleair home of Douglas and Sandy Prior. The event’s theme “Glitz, Glamour and Moonlight” will bring us back in time with a delectable fare from 1940’s. The Silver Coffee Committee will also have their popular cookbook, “No Small Feat,” available for purchase. The Children’s Home Society of Florida provides a full spectrum of prevention and intervention programs designed to protect children while preserving, strengthening and building families. Statewide, CHS provides services for more than 139,000 children and families annually, and the Gulf Coast division serves 7,600 each year. The Gulf Coast division is the 4th largest not-for-profit of 1,400 accredited in the US and Canada by the National Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children (COA).
