Memoir Writing Workshop Slated

DUNEDIN - A Memoir Writing Workshop, by Sandy Huff on how to write your autobiography, will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 455 Scotland, Dunedin, on Monday, August 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. Her talk will include sure-fire topics, writing with POW! and making your readers ‘see’ your life.

An award winning photojournalist, Sandy Huff has published 1,230 magazine and newspaper articles, plus “about half that many photos,” she said.  Huff specializes in feature articles about outdoor life and traveling.  She is a member of Pen Women, the Florida Outdoor Writers Association, Windlasses sailing club, and several paddling clubs.  Her book on canoeing and kayaking the waters of Florida, “Paddler’s Guide to the Sunshine State” has sold over 7000 copies.  She holds a Master’s degree in Communications.

  The meeting will be sponsored by the Clearwater Branch of the National League of American Pen Women.  The League consists of professional women writers, artists, and composers.  The Clearwater Branch has been in existence since 1957.
