Off Shore Drilling to be Discussed at Chamber's BOD MeetingCLEARWATER - The Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce will be holding its monthly Board of Directors meeting Tuesday, September 9. The meeting starts at 8 a.m. at The Oaks of Clearwater, 420 Bay Avenue, Clearwater. Guest speakers Phil Compton from the Sierra Club, Kristi Cheatham from Clearwater Gas System, and others will be presenting information about the proposed off shore drilling for oil and its impact on Florida's beaches.
