At that time the Cabana Club was falling down, rat infested and such a health concern that the city was going to sue the then owners of the Belleview Biltmore to either clean it up or demolish it. Not a pretty situation!! Fast forward 4 or 5 years and the new owners (Legg Mason) of the Cabana Club, the Belleview Biltmore Hotel and The Belleview Biltmore Golf Club have done the following: 1.Invested substantial monies to acquire the properties. 2.Have allocated over 100 million dollars to renovate and upgrade these properties. 3.Have shown a very professional and empathetic approach to upgrading all of these properties. As sensible and clear headed neighbors, why should we oppose the well conceived plans and significant investments of the new owners that will most assuredly improve our investments? - John Emmons
