Troup 416 - Eagle Scout Chooses HSP

CLEARWATER, – The Humane Society of Pinellas is pleased to announce that one of our much needed improvements is being completed. Through the Boy Scouts of America, an upstanding scout with ambition and leadership potential, Darin Seiter, a student at Palm Harbor University has chosen HSP to benefit from his Eagle Scout project. The Eagle Scout Project requires, in addition to merit badges and a position of responsibility, a community service project planned and led entirely by the Eagle Scout candidate.

Darin has elected to provide HSP with an 80 foot by 3 foot long concrete sidewalk. This much needed pathway will connect HSP’s Adoption Center with the Medical building. Currently this walkway is a simple dirt path that when wet can become very slippery for both humans and animals. To provide financial support for this project, Darin is holding a car wash on Saturday, September 27, at 2329 Sunset Point Road in Clearwater. You can support Darin in his efforts to complete his Eagle Scout project which he has scheduled for October 18, and your car will be clean and shiny.
