The A, B, C's of GesneriadsSARASOTA - A judged show and sale of Gesneriads and African Violets, hosted by the Suncoast and Tampa Bay Gesneriad Societies, will be held at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, 811 Palm Avenue, Sarasota with free growing advice and assistance by members. The show will be the first in many years. The event will be held Sat., Sept. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. and Sun., Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - rain or shine - indoor venue Special admission is two for one - first person pays $17, second is free, free to Selby members.
