Halloween Exhibit Opens at Dunedin Historical Museum

DUNEDIN – Visit one of the favorite exhibits at the Dunedin Historical Society from September 16th to November 21st, Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a suggested donation of $2 for adults, and no charge for children under 12. (November 1st the museum will be closed to prepare for the ABRACADABRA I Ball.)

An extensive collection of historical Halloween materials such as vintage costumes, paper decorations, and postcards has been imaginatively arranged to give the illusion of a haunted house, to give some thrills and chills to visitors as they walk through the exhibit areas. Several local collectors of Halloween items have shared them for this special exhibit. One section of the exhibit is devoted to stories of celebrations here in Dunedin, including parades and local parties. This is an experience which is fun for all ages.
