Club Offering Grant Money to Non-profit GroupsThe GFWC Clearwater Community Woman’s Club will be awarding Daisy Award Grants of up to $1,000 to nonprofit organizations in the upper county area. Nonprofit organizations that apply must demonstrate service to area residents. An application form can be found on the GFWC Clearwater Community Woman’s Club web site at www.clearwatercwc.org. The deadline for applying for a Daisy Grant is November 1, 2008. Grants will be presented at the club’s Daisy Award and Fashion Show March 26, 2009. The Clearwater Community Woman’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
