The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art Co-Hosts a Fundraiser

Art of Fashion: Black & White and Red All Over?

TARPON SPRINGS – The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art will co-sponsor with the HarborSprings Woman’s Club of North Pinellas, a fundraiser for the museum’s educational programs.

Art of Fashion: Black & White & Red All Over? will be held in the museum Saturday, September 20th from 6:30 to 10 p.m. The event will include; a runway show featuring vintage Couture and Kitsch fashions from the 50’s 60’s and 70’s; a silent auction; cigar rolling demonstrations; and Margaret Word Burnside of Tampa Bay Magazine will serve as the emcee for the evening.  The cost is $55 in advance and $75 the day of the event. The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art is located just west of U.S. Highway 19 at 600 Klosterman Road, on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College.  Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, with extended hours until 9 p.m. on Thursday. Sunday hours are from 1-5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sunday, admission is free and docent tours are offered at 2 p.m.  The museum is closed on Mondays and major holidays.  Please call ahead for information or directions (727) 712-5762
