Mayor of Clearwater Proclaims October “Opera Month” for the CityCLEARWATER – On October 2nd, at 6 p. m., at Clearwater City Hall, Mayor Frank V. Hibbard will be presenting a proclamation to the Pinellas Opera League proclaiming October as Opera Month for the city of Clearwater. Accepting the proclamation will be Mary Jo Bell, Director of Education for the Opera League. In accordance with Opera Month, there will be four “Lunch Box Lectures” presented at the downtown Clearwater Library by the Pinellas Opera League on the following Wednesdays:
All lectures will be held from noon until 1 p.m. In addition “Barbie Dolls in Opera are on display at the downtown Clearwater Library through November 26th.
