Letter sent to City of Largo Mayor and Commissioners - TaxesAt a time when we are all at the risk of losing our houses, I can not believe you would vote to raise our taxes. I guess if you can not pay your taxes you would just vote yourselves another raise. Get a clue. You work for the people of Largo. We all have to make cut backs. Do you not watch what is going on in the country with the banks? Largo does not survive on it's own. It is part of the U.S. and is going through the same turmoils. - Jeffrey J. Ehrhardt P.S. When I was at city hall the other day and looked at the budget. It shows where your priorities lie. Do you not see a problem when our parks department is getting more of our tax dollars than the police or fire departments? I would rather know my family is safe then for you to feel good that the grass was cut at the park.
