Clearwater Airpark To Host Open HouseCLEARWATER, – The Clearwater Airpark will host an Open House, Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The open house will feature a remote controlled aircraft demonstration, scheduled for 10:15 a.m. and reduced rate airplane and helicopter rides begin at 11 a.m. Aircraft scheduled to appear include helicopters from the Army and Bayflite. Unique vintage aircraft, Clearwater fire trucks, and military aircraft will be available to view throughout the day. Activities include children’s games from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and police K-9 demonstrations at noon. Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be available while supplies last.
