Rachel Zimmer of Daytona Beach holds her 3-year-old ragdoll cat by the name of Snapdragon while awaiting a call to the judging area during the American Cat Fanciers Association-sanctioned Cat Show at the Ross Norton Recreation Complex in Clearwater on September 27. Zimmer's ragdoll kittens, 6-month-old sisters Lantana and Larkspur, are pictured at right. It was the younger felines' first show. Show manager Lynn Tait advised there were 141 entries in the competition hosted by the RagaMuffin Associated Group. The cats came from as far away as the United Kingdom, Scotland and Canada, she said. Another American Cat Fanciers Association-sanctioned show is scheduled at Tarpon Springs High School on November 22 and 23. The Gulf Coast Touch of Class Cat Club is host club for that event.
