Artist-designed Jazz Banners on Display in Downtown ClearwaterCLEARWATER – The decorative lamp posts of the Cleveland Street District are getting “jazzed up” to celebrate the 29th annual Clearwater Jazz Holiday. Nine local artists were selected through a Call to Artists process that resulted in the selection of ten unique jazz-themed designs that have been reproduced in a series of colorful vinyl banners, making thirty banners in all. Local artists Dietrich Adonis, Wil Dawon, Susi Galloway, Terry Gray, Della Lindsey, Gus Ocamposilva, Karen Marie Radke, Dan Vitale, and Beth Warmath each received an honorarium for their designs. The banners were put on display along Cleveland Street Wednesday, October 15th, and will remain throughout October and November.
