Hale Activity Center Offers Ballroom Dancing Instruction and More

Schneider is instructor for the ballroom dance classes offered at the center on Monday evenings. The three couples shown with her volunteered for a demonstration rhumba lesson. The open house was an opportunity for the public to learn more about the many programs available to them, such as the senior exercise classes, line dance classes, beginner digital photo classes, Tai Chi classes and computer classes. The center also hosts a walking club and breakfast bunch. Groups come to the center to play chair volleyball, pinochle, canasta and/or Mah Jong while others turn out for the special luncheons, weekly movies and dance nights.
