3rd Annual Biscuits & Tea Fundraiser SetCLEARWATER - The Humane Society of Pinellas is pleased to announce that they have been selected as the co-beneficiary, along with Pet Pal Rescue, for the 3rd Annual Biscuits & Tea. On October 25th, in Pioneer Park in Downtown Dunedin, off of Main Street, this Annual Fundraiser will be held from 11:30 a.m.- 3 p.m. You will participate in an afternoon Proper Tea Party serving tea and biscuits along with a runway fashion show featuring designs by My Pets Dream Boutique for four legged, furry companions. This year, the adoptable dogs will be accompanied down the runway by children from the Homeless Emergency Project, one of last year’s benefactors. Biscuits & Tea is a not for profit event held in loving memory of Solomon, a 14 year companion of the event founder, Candice Looney Marcum. With Bella, the black Lab hostess by her side, this fundraiser grows every year. Last year 50 canine models entertained over 175 attendees! In addition to raising funds for the Humane Society of Pinellas and Pet Pal Rescue, other goals include education, awareness and to encourage shelter adoptions. Admission into the event is by donation and is open to the public. You will also have the opportunity to purchase “Bella Bones” for further fundraising. The public is invited to this unique afternoon affair which will offer tea, punch, tea party goodies for humans and dogs along with goodie bags for all attendees.
