Nagano Student PresentationsOn Tuesday, October 28, 6:30 p.m., at the Morningside Recreation Center, 2400 Harn Boulevard, Clearwater, students that traveled to Nagano, Japan, during the summer of 2008 through Clearwater Sister Cities, Inc., the City of Clearwater, and the Pinellas County School Board cultural exchange program will present their experiences during their 2-week visit. Nagano, Japan located in the "alps" of Japan and host of the 1998 Winter Olympics is the Sister City to Clearwater. Each year there are cultural ambassador student exchanges between high school and middle school youth as well as periodic adult exchanges where they stay with a local family, attend local schools and explore Japan This program will provide the opportunity for future youth interested in participating in Clearwater Sister Cities, Inc. cultural exchange programs to receive information on our exchanges for summer of 2009.
