Questers Visit Historical Cottage and Tour IRB
On Wednesday, October 15th, the Questers (an International organization whose focus is historcial places and items of antiquity) were hosted by Shera Bie from IRB Historical Museum and Plein Aire Cottage Artist Mary Rose Holmes. Mayor R.B. Johnson is pictured welcoming the group. A tour of IRB Historical Museum was first on the agenda; then a tour of Holmes' historical beach cottage and viewing of the Highwaymen collection of paintings, which recently showed at Leepa Rattner Museum. The historical cottages and beach trail of Indian Rocks Beach were of specific interest. The group lunched at Guppy's on the Beach where the art work of the Plein Aire Cottage Artists is hanging and a warm welcome was extended by management and staff at Guppy's.
