“A Blue Ribbon Life”On Wednesday, November 12, the Clearwater Christian Club is hosting its monthly luncheon at the Cove Cay Country Club on the northeast corner of U.S. 19 and Haines Bayshore in Clearwater. The guest soloist, Rita Goldstein, will be singing a medley of her favorite songs. It’s that time of year for Clearwater Christian Club’s “Blue Ribbon Gala. There will be many items available for silent bidding plus prize winning baked goods for sale. Another special this year is the “dollar table.” Both fall and Christmas items will be available and many unique gift items. Mary Ellen House, of Tarpon Springs, will share how her life has become a Blue Ribbon Life after experiencing illness, abuse, and poverty. She is an energetic warm happy spirit who wants to encourage others. All women are welcome. The club is not affiliated with any church or denomination. There are no dues or membership.
