Anderson, who were married on the beach in front of the Aruba Marriott Resort in Palm Beach, Aruba on October 20. Amy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Condella of Harbor Bluffs. Doug is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Anderson of Aurora, Missouri. The bride's aunt, Carrie Reynolds-Flatt, and uncle, Dr. Jay R. Flatt, of Belleair Beach were among those in attendance. The couple reside in Belleair ... Congratulations are also in order for Bob and Betty Smith, who recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary ... Hats off to Kerry Kimball of the Clearwater Parks & Recreation Department, who has been named City of Clearwater's "Employee of the Month" for November. A tip of the hat also goes to the members of the Police House Fire Rescue Team, which received the city's Team Award for November/December. Members of the team are Officer Nick Giordano, Officer Doug Bailey, Officer Chris Lyons and Officer Dave Marshall ... Kudos to Carol Taylor, who was recently recognized by the City of Clearwater's Parks and Recreation Department as their "Volunteer of the Quarter" for July-September. The "Service Group of the Quarter" award for July-September went to Delta Sigma Theta Alumni of Clearwater, which deserves a round of applause for members' efforts in the cleanup of Garden Avenue Park through the Adopt A Park program ... Did you know Lorraine Freitag and Joan Baker turn a year older today, November 6? ... Be sure to wish Jan Davis, Mary Ann Nix, Kimberly Smith and Michele Kraus all the best on their special day, tomorrow ...
