Apple Cook-Off Is a Tasty Affair

Pictured above with their entries in the recent 4-H Apple Cook-Off at the Pinellas County Extension Service are (from left) Elinor Gale, Julia McQueen, Emily Chen and Edan Chen. All are members of the 7C's 4-H Club. Elinor took first place for her apple fennel soup in the youth savory category. Other first place winners were Gretchen Post (adult), Amanda Peacock (youth) and the Sain family (family category). The tasty creations entered by Julia, Emily and Edan were awarded blue ribbons.
