Pinellas Golden Girls Spook World Table Tennis Players
Each year table tennis players compete at the World Senior Games in St George, Utah, to determine who are the “Best of the Best”. There was no “trick or treating” by the Florida Golden Girls as they spooked their opponents with hard determined play. The Golden Girls won fifteen medals; five gold, six silver, four bronze. The Golden Girls pictured from left to right are: Nahed “Queen of the Nile” Williams (1G,2S, 2B) Sari “Dutch Woman” Kisbany (3G,3S,1B), and “Margo The Magnificent” Lindsay (1G,1S,1B). The Golden Girls train at the Sunrise Table Tennis Club at least four times per week for this world event and they have been the “Girls To Beat” for the last five years.
