The City of Dunedin Seeks Entrants for Annual Holiday ParadeDunedin — The Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Dunedin invites schools, businesses, community organizations and church groups to participate in the annual Holiday Parade. This year’s theme is “Winter Holidays Around the World.” The parade will take place on Sat., Dec. 13th at a new starting time - 4:00 p.m. Marching bands, twirlers, street performers and floats are sought to join in this family-friendly fun event. This year’s route will be along Douglas Ave. from Dunedin Stadium north to Pioneer Park and is co-sponsored by the Dunedin Youth Guild. The Dunedin Youth Guild offers two $100 prizes — one for the Best Children's Perfor-mance and the other for the Best Children's Theme Decorated. There will be a concert immediately following the parade by the Dunedin High-land Middle School Band in the park.
