Clearwater residents are generously selecting gift items for needy children around the world to pack in shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse. Nov. 17-24 is National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child, when more than 2,400 locations spanning all 50 states and staffed by thousands of volunteers will be open to collect millions of shoe box gifts for needy and hurting children.
