Charlie and Nancy Valone Celebrate Anniversary
Charlie and Nancy Valone, lifetime residents of Clearwater Beach, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on November 29, 2008. Married at the Chapel-By-The-Sea on November 29, 1958, the Valones were the second members to be married at the newly built church. Except for a brief period of residence in Charleston, South Carolina, where Charlie was stationed at Charleston Air force Base, the Valones have made their home on Clearwater Beach. They raised two children, Joel and Jayme and they have five grandchildren. Nancy and Charlie have been active in working with the youth at Chapel-By-The-Sea since its beginning, participating in both the Sunday School and Youth Fellowship programs. Over the years they have expanded their "family" to include several additional teenagers without families of their own. All the members of their extended family expect to be present when the Valones celebrate their fifty years of marriage this week.
