“Ride & Run with the Stars” to Benefit Sheriff’s Christmas Sharing ProjectThe Pinellas County Sheriff’s “Ride & Run With the Stars” is Saturday, December 6th, at Fort De Soto Park. It starts at 8 a.m., but registration opens at 7 a.m. “Ride & Run With the Stars” benefits the Sheriff’s Christmas Sharing Project, which gives food, clothes and toys to children, crime victims and families. There are cycling, running and walking events, a silent auction, a free Kids Bike Rodeo, a climbing wall, Sheriff’s office displays, food, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will arrive at the Fort by helicopter.
