PETERSBURG – The Garden Club of St. Petersburg will be holding a Coffee and Garden Crafts Workshop on Monday, January 5, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Garden Club Center. A materials fee of $3.50 for Garden Club members and $4.50 for guests and the general public will be charged to cover supplies. The workshop will be “Decorating Pots.” One 8” clay pot will be supplied along with paint, stickers and stencils. You may bring additional clean pots from home to decorate. All craft workshops are open to the general public, potential new members and guests. Bring your own scissors, pencil and small paint brushes. Coffee and tea will be furnished. The Garden Club of St. Petersburg will be holding its Horticulture for Weekend Gardeners (aks the “Night Bloomers” Circle) on Tuesday, January 6 at 7 p.m. at the Garden Center. The program will be “Landscaping with Florida Natives” given by Bruce Turley from Wilcox Nursery. The meetings are always open to the public but there will be a charge for non-members of the Garden Club to help cover speaker expense.
