Girl Scouts of West Central Florida Announce 2009 Women of DistinctionGirl Scouts of West Central Florida recently announced its 2009 Women of Distinction: Rose V. Ferlita (Tampa), Sally S. Hill (Tampa), Dr. Julie M. Janssen (Treasure Island) and Liz Kennedy (Tampa). The four women were selected based upon various criteria, including success in their chosen fields and serving as role models for girls and young women. They will be honored at the eighth annual Women of Distinction luncheon Tuesday, March 24, 2009, noon, at A La Carte Event Pavilion (4050 Dana Shores Dr., Tampa).
