Ride the miniature trains of Largo Central Railroad on the first full weekend every month in sunny Largo Central Park. There is no charge for this family-fun activity, but donations are expected to help keep the trains running! Elvis Birthday Bash - January 4th at 2 p.m., Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. Celebrate the "King's" birthday with top talented Elvis tribute artists as they "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" their way through a nostalgic afternoon of entertainment and fun. Marshall Tucker Band - January 7th at 7:30 p.m., Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. The Marshall Tucker Band is one of the pioneers of American Southern Rock. Thursday Harvest Marketplace - (Nov 2008 - April 2009). January 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., Ulmer Park, 301 West Bay Drive. Ulmer Park will be filled once again with the sounds of music, vendors, shoppers, and kids. Do your shopping outdoors in beautiful Ulmer Park and experience a true Harvest Market. Products may vary from week to week but will typically include produce, crafts, specialty foods, and jewelry. Also, don't forget live music in the gazebo. Stop in every Thursday so you don't miss out and then check back here for updates on themed events full of a variety of services and activities for all to enjoy! Sunset Sounds at Ulmer Park - January 9th, 7 p.m until 9 p.m., Ulmer Park, 301 West Bay Drive. Enjoy dinner at one of the downtown restaurants, then head on over to Ulmer Park for Sunset Sounds on the second Friday of each month. A different musical group will entertain under the gazebo each date. Be sure to pack your lawn chair! The Green Machine: Kids' Expo 2009 - January 10th, 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Drive. The earth needs saving! Become a superhero by going green.
