Caladesi Chapter, National Society Daughters to Hold Free Genealogy Seminar

Caladesi Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be presenting their 25th Annual Free Genealogy Seminar on Wednesday, January 28.  It will be held at the Dunedin Public Library, 223 Douglas Avenue, Dunedin, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Presentations will be made by Peter Summers and Bob Bryan, officers of the Pinellas Genealogy Society.  Their topics will be "Introduction to Genealogy Research" and "Searching Records on Internet Sources Ancestry and Family Search."

Honeywell Parks and other members of the Clearwater Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) in colonial dress will give a presentation and exhibit displays of "Revolution Memorabilia" such as musket, drum, and powder horn.  DAR members will also have numerous displays.  Representatives of other lineage societies will be present to give brief information about their organizations.   Refreshments will be served.
