Karen Benjey Performs at Abilities Guild Mardi Gras at Bon AppetitOn Thursday, February 19, the Karen Benjey trio will perform at the Abilities Guild “Mardi Gras and All That Jazz” at Bon Appetit, 150 Marina Plaza, Dunedin starting at 6:30 p.m. Karen has been in the Tampa Bay area perfoming her jazzy vocal/piano renditions of the American Songbook and other blues standards. Her trio featuring tenor sax and string bass plays on Sundays at the Don Cesar Brunch; has recently appeared on stage with Tony Bennett at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday; and has appeared in Japan, Switzerland, Germany Scandinavia and Turkey. The public is invited to attend for fine dining and dancing Mardi Gras style. Silent auction items appropriate to the evening’s theme of “All That Jazz” will be available for bidding throughout the evening. Costumes optional but are suggested. Cost per person: $65.
